Please carefully read the information about our rates, how to use your insurance, payments accepted, and how to cancel your appointment without any penalties.


Your therapy may be covered in full or partially by your health insurance or employee benefit plan.

We accept most insurance.

Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:

Do I have mental health/substance abuse insurance benefits?

What is my deductible and has it been met?

How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

What is the coverage amount per therapy session?



If you choose not to use insurance, please call our office to discuss rates. Additionally, we offer discounted rates for those interested in meeting with our Counselor in Residence or Supervisees in Professional Counseling.



We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards as a form of payment.

If you have any questions about billing, please call us.



We require 24-hour notice if you decide to cancel or reschedule your appointment at Higher Ground Recovery. If you do not call within 24 hours you could incur a $75.00 late cancellation fee. If you miss your appointment, and did not call you could incur a $125.00 cancellation fee. Please remember to provide us with 24-hour notice to avoid unwanted fees.
